He is currently associated to IGAG-CNR of Rome. Member of Editorial Board of Alpine and Mediterranean Quaternary (AMQ) journal (since 2012) and Associate Editor of AMQ (since 2020), member of the Editorial Board of AIMS GEOSCIENCES (since 2016), member of the Editorial Board of Geosciences (since 2019). Since 2005, he is Secretary of Regional Committee on Mediterranean Neogene Stratigraphy (RCMNS), since 2013 he is Voting member of the Subcommission on Quaternary Stratigraphy (SQS) and since 2020 he is Voting member of the Subcommission on Neogene Stratigraphy (SNS). The research activity is focused on the study of planktonic foraminifera in Biostratigraphy and Paleoclimatology, and He is mainly involved to study the past climate changes from Ma to millennial scale, recorded in the marine fossil archives of the Mediterranean. Particularly, he is focused to the reconstruction of climatic fluctuations and temperatures (from secular to decadal scale), documented in marine records over the last two millennia."}
