A VIRTUAL NETWORK OF CNR LABORATORIES AFFILIATED WITH DSSTTA, FEATURING FACILITIES USED OR USABLE FOR THE STUDY OF PAST CLIMATES AND ENVIRONMENTS<\/strong><\/p>

Reconstructing past climate and environmental variability is essential for predicting and mitigating ongoing and future changes. These studies rely on geochemical, biological, and physical proxy data<\/strong> derived from natural archives.<\/p>

In recent years, advancements in analytical methodologies and the adoption of a rigorous multiproxy approach<\/strong> have significantly enhanced our ability to interpret these records.<\/p>

While this progress fosters multidisciplinary integration<\/strong>, it also demands greater access to advanced analytical facilities and specialized expertise<\/strong>, whose acquisition and management often exceed the capacities of individual research groups or institutes.<\/p>

CRISPY<\/strong> was established by the Paleoclimate Working Group<\/strong> to foster collaboration among researchers, optimize available resources, promote cutting-edge research, facilitate the development of innovative technologies and methodologies, and contribute to the training of students and Early Career Researchers (ECRs).<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

HOW DOES IT WORK?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The CRISPY database<\/strong> is organized into categories and keywords<\/strong> that help users identify specific analytical facilities<\/strong> available within the system. By selecting a category or keyword of interest, users are directed to a list of relevant laboratories<\/strong>, each with a brief description and a link to an individual lab profile<\/strong> containing detailed information and contact details for specific requests.<\/p>

Participation in CRISPY is voluntary<\/strong>, and access to facilities is managed by each laboratory\u2019s designated contact person.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
