She has more than 20 years’ experience in the application of O and H isotopes in polar science and paleoclimatology and has participated in several successful deep drilling projects (EPICA, TALDICE) and leading paleoclimatology projects focusing on the Holocene (ESF-HOLOCLIP) and the last 2000 years (PAGES Antarctica2k). She is involved in the isotopic characterization of year-round snow precipitation in Antarctica, and she is the Italian PI of the EAIIST project in collaboration with French and Australian partners. She is directly involved (WP leader) in the Beyond EPICA project, funded by the EU. She is the scientific beneficiary of the H2020-MSCA-ITN-2020 DEEPICE project. These scientific activities led to 113 peer-reviewed scientific papers. She is in the SSC of IPICS and TALDICE. Deputy Coordinator and member of the teaching Committee of the PhD in Polar Sciences at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She is CNR’s Delegate to IUGG/IACS for the 2015/2018 and 2019-2022 periods. She is associated editor of Climate of the Past journal.
